Legal highs are being talked about more than ever across the globe. Questions of: Are they safe? Are they okay to take because they are legal or are they in fact extremely dangerous? Many of these products on the shelves are being sold to people with labels on them as "not for human consumption." However, we all know that every seller knows the buyer is using it for personal use. Personally, I have never had anything against drugs or legal products as I do live in this oh so modern world but I took a trip to Dam and things may have changed...
I wanted to write about my experience as when I came back from Amsterdam I did a bit of research on the legal highs I had taken and there was no information or reviews what so ever. I truly believe people need to know about it. I had never touched legal highs before till the night of the 28th March 2015 where I attended the Drum N Bass event Innovation in the Dam which believe me was fucking incredible. Me and my friends arrived and had got the vodka ready, the weed ready but not the party drugs. Out there we made a strong decision not to buy off the streets as white heroin was being sold to tourists as cocaine and quite frankly I was not ready to die.
So we went to one of Amsterdam's Legal high shops. I can't remember exactly what it was called but it did have a giant Mushroom outside of it of course. I went round and had a browse at all the "legal" drugs. There was so many to choose from. Instead of picking myself I asked the man behind the counter for advise. This guy clearly knew what he was talking about. You could see it in the way he spoke and looked. Poor man. Anyway, I told him about the rave and what I was use to taking back in the UK. The man offered me a little tube with a random sticker over it covering the label. He said it was a form of liquid Ecstasy a little similar to the illegal drug MDMA. He explained it would not make you trip out but would give you lots of energy...As I'm use to this I asked for something else which would do make me trip. He then offered me Psychedelic pills called E happy caps. They came with 5 in a pack and he said to take two to get the full effect. He also said the liquid Ecstasy could be taken all at once if you wanted the MDMA coming up rush effect or you could spread it out through out the night. I then asked them could the legal highs be mixed. His reply was not or no nor a yes. He simply replied with: I have never taken them together but it could be amazing...so, I was happy! I had my drugs which were legal and safe and in the back of my mind I thought, what if these are shit as there legal..? boy, was I wrong...
We began the night buy getting ready in our hotel drinking Vodka. I never normally drink and mix drugs but I was on holiday and thought why the hell not. Just before we left for the rave I downed my liquid Ecstasy in one gulp as back home I'm use to large quantities of MDMA bombs. We got to the rave about 10.30/11PM. An hour later at the rave I was feeling good. I knew something was happening but I mainly just felt happiness and very energetic. We decided to get water and I also got a beer to go with it. Joints were being passed around the rave and in the smoking area like there was no tomorrow so I clearly smoked a bit too. After all it is legal isn't it? It was now 3am, I thought to myself: This rave is on till 7 and I'm not gonna last. I then remembered I had 5 Psychedelic pills in the pouch of my underwear so I decide to take 2. Everything seemed fine, the music was poppin, my friends were all happy and I was tripping beautifully....
Then Bam, I'm in a fucking fish bowl... Yes, I thought I was a fish swimming amongst other fish. I kinda thought this was incredible to be honest! Then BAM....The music starts to fade out and I hear nothing. Nothing but the sound of my friends asking if I was okay. The scenery completely changed. Imagine spinning a world globe very very fast... so take that image and put me in the middle of the dance floor with the rest of the room spinning around me. I had to keep so still as objects, people, words, numbers, shapes etc started to fly past me. It was like my whole life and past experiences I had were flying past me. Believe it or not I even seen my best friend who wasn't even in Amsterdam. This might sound like the best trip ever but believe me it changes...Ashley my best friend came up to me but I could only see him when he was really close to my face. He asked me if I was okay as my eyes were rolling in my head and it looked like I was about to topple over. This never happens to me. I'm normally a pro. seriously. My breathing then begins to start going in a different rhythm. I wasn't sure how to breath anymore. It felt like my heart was expanding and my lungs were filling up with water or air. Can't say I've felt that before. I didn't want to scare my friends so I acted as If i was okay. Although at this point I couldn't even see where I was anymore.
From standing in a packed out rave it then turned into an underground dirty skate park. People started to disappear and all I could see was skateboarders and BMX'rs flying past me. I decided to take a step as it might make me come out of this crazy trip. But no, everytime I took a step a barrier would appear infront of me so I thought I was trapped. So I turned around to walk the other way but once again a barrier was there. I could even hold and feel it.

🍁 Hyde Park 420 🍁
This weekend I went along to Hyde Parks 420 celebration event with some of London's most advocate cannabis smokers. 420 is a code word for the consumption of Cannabis which is extremely popular in the Cannabis subculture. This event is put together so people can come together for a peaceful protest to express the legalisation of this class B drug. The park was filled with the happy and the most high of folks from all different ages and backgrounds, all coming together for just one thing...Cannabis! Over the years the cannabis culture has become incredibly worldwide and it has become the norm for people to smoke cannabis in their everyday lives. The day was full of speeches, debates, smoking, music and freestyle MC's. Big Narstie himself even popped down for a visit. This event happened in other major city's across the UK and across the globe.
Some people smoke cannabis for the joy and fun and to be social with new and old friends. Others smoke Cannabis for medical reasons. Some countries today do in fact supply weed medically but unfortunately in the UK this is not the case. Cannabis has known to of helped many people and it's even being talked about in the sense of helping to cure cancer. Cannabis helps reduce nausea and vomiting. It can also help people with aids and helps pain in muscle. However safety concerns include memory loss and and cognition problems. But doesn't everything we take have side effects and cause problems? People argue that the consumption of alcohol is much worse then the consumption of Cannabis.
There was a number of arrests and searches at Hyde Park on the day of 420 as Cannabis is illegal. However, this did not stop the weed smokers all from lighting the biggest spliffs I had ever seen at the exact time of 4:20 in front of the police who just stood and watched. The atmosphere was great and there was no trouble. What stoner wants to start a fight anyway?
Well done to every who went along on the 19th and the 20th. Keep fighting the good cause and hopefully one day something will be done. If weed was legalised and regulated it could help many many sick people to finally get better.

Happy Tokes ❥ ☮
Meet this pretty Lady here! Happy Tokes ☮.
I follow a lot of random people on Instagram and stare for stupid amounts of hours at there photos. But this woman is another story.
You might take one look at her photo and judge. Don't. Just keep reading.
Before I start I'm not saying I'm pro drugs and I'm defiantly not saying I'm against it either. I'm 21 and live in a modern world for god sake what do you expect?. :)
Anyway, with over 30K followers this young woman from Michigan is a huge inspiration to many people around the world. This is not because she is a proud Ganja smoker but in fact she has been given the drug as medication for the past 4 years. She suffers with a terrible disorder called CVS (Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome) For those of you who don't really understand what this is "severe nausea, vomiting, and physical exhaustion that occur with no apparent cause" She has luckily enough been allowed to use cannabis as a form of medication as it is legal to do so where she's from. Cannabis has been the only medication which has helped her control her disorder. It is helping her to overcome the illness she has.
The fact this woman promotes this to the world is incredible. She is allowing other people who suffer with this same disorder to find a way to get better. Weed is still Illegal in many county's across the world which I still believe needs to change. Because of this, people do not know that something which is seen is "bad" in many places is actually helping others improve their health. So how does any of this make sense? I'm not saying weed is the best thing in the world and that we all should smoke it because deep down the more we smoke the more it is gonna effect us. Its proven to help others and people do just enjoy a good old toke once In a while. Moderation is key...Happy Tokes promoting this through the internet is a good start. At least people who live in country's who aren't allowed to smoke it legally now know their is an option to help fight their disorder. I personally do not suffer from this illness but after reading through Happy Tokes' Insta Blog and seeing her stories of struggle to then change into stories of happiness has truly inspired me.
A beautiful woman with a beautiful heart.

Shave Hollie ❥
My Beautiful best friend Hollie Belcher (aich.bee) shaved all her locks off for Macmillan Cancer Support last weekend! An incredibly brave and caring thing to do! It was one of my proudest moments of her and of course I shed a few tears or ten and maybe even drank a months worth of alcohol in the same night. She put herself into the position of many people out there who don't have a choice of keeping there own hair. So far she has raised an astonishing £671.23 not far from the target of £750! Please help Hollie hit the target by donating to the below link and lets help beat cancer!
Please watch the video from the night of Shave Hollie. Expect to get emotional and expect to be inspired.
It was an eventful night held at the Kings Head in Acton, West London. With music from my close friends Odd Rival and Lucy Thompson performing live in support.
Please check them out too!
aitch bee pulls this look off so well.
Obviously she is starring in the new Orange Is The New Black.
She's my own Ruby Rose.
Well done girl.

The Start Of My New Blog!
HI! I'm Kirsty (KirstyKOO) to most.
Some people say I'm hilarious
Other people just laugh at me and I'm okay with that :)
and some people just think I'm a twat.
Other people just laugh at me and I'm okay with that :)
and some people just think I'm a twat.
Ive started one of these things many times and never really kept it going.
But this time I will as I love a good writing sesh and don't really have an excuse anymore!
Just a little overview about me.... I'm 21 years young and I recently graduated in Media and Film studies at The university of West London which tbh I kinnnnd of have a hard time remembering it all. But from what I do remember, it was pretty magical I must say. Now I work in the oh so amazing Film Industry with a job title as: Tier 1 KDM Coordinator for a company called Deluxe Digital Cinema where I release films across the world...Fancy right? (I basically look at codes all day) I'm also a proud northerner living in the big city of London Town. If I don't go out raving at least twice a month I'll start to lose my shit. I can honestly dance for at least 10 hours straight and will be 100% a better dancer then you ever will be. I change my hair colour and my style as much as I change my underwear. Let's just say I get bored easily. Music keeps me going and I can pretty much listen to anything: From DnB to Metalcore. I have a lot of love and pretty much love everyone. I tend to write a lot of shit for myself instead of others.
Anyway, This blog is going to be mainly a personal blog with a lot of photos and me just blabbing on about unnecessary topics which probably no one will read but who even cares? Not me. So if you are bored then you know where the X is. I already have other blogs from when I was at college and University so check them out to. That's if you have an interest in long boring essays that is! (They don't bore me)
